Dear Members,
Firstly, thank you for nominating me for the role, and I will try to do my best for the benefit of the club.
Secondly, I would like to thank Lars and all the outgoing board members for their service to the club, they did good work!
There is a lot to do at the club.
The renewal of pontoons is an ongoing job, which the board will keep on top of within the replacement programme.

The club house is in dire need of a coat of paint or two and some ’tender loving care’, and it is the responsibility of us ALL to make sure that we help out when called upon to do so, to keep the club house looking smart and tidy. Ove will be putting a work schedule together which every member will be included in.
As well as maintaining the club house and pontoons, I am making it my mission to get the long awaited toilet and shower project underway.
Watch this space for further updates!
The board are also discussing ways in which we can make some small improvements to Långön, our lovely club island. Some basic ’Do’s and Dont’s’ for every visitor to abide by, thus making the island more enjoyable for everyone. Again, watch this space.
The club will only ever be as good as the members who are a part of it, and with all the work that is required this year, the club committee will be looking for a lot more involvement from club members.
With this in mind, a questionaire will be emailed to members for you to answer and have your say about the club, how it is run, and what you want from the club. The more responses we can get, the better we can provide you with the type of club you want.
Busy times are ahead, but beneficial times also.
I strongly believe that we can all come together and make this a club to be proud of.
Fair winds and easy tides,
Jon Christian.
